Yeah the Phoenix label is a known bootleg label Janet!
Is it the Decca Audition material?
Right now I am listening to more Ringo Starr!
VH1 StoryTellers and the All-Starr Band Volume 1.
They should call Ringo Mr. Entertainment!
Matter of fact I think they do!
Excellent music!

How do you like that Beatles album Janet?
I really enjoy it. It's amazing how different they sounded with Pete Best on the drums.
He really wasn't a very good drummer and he refused to get a Beatles haircut!
I noticed he had one after the Beatles made it big, and he was trying to cash in on it, with a solo career though!
George Martin, signed The Beatles later but hired a session drummer (Andy White) for their first recording session. By then Ringo had joined up but he was relegated to tamborine and maracas on Love Me Do and PS I Love You, respectively! After some persuasion they recorded Love Me Do with Ringo on drums too and that version did get released on the British single, back then. It never got released in the US until the Rarities album came together, in 1980!
Ringo has never let George Martin live that down either, he says! LOL!
OOPS! Don't start me talking about The Beatles...I'll tell you everything I know!

Hey Janet,
Sounds like you have a nice Beatle collection there. I love The Runaways version of 8 Days A Week but that was released after Cherie had left the band.
Here Comes The Sun & Strawberry Fields Forever are by Cherie only. Although they came out on a Runaways album.
She recorded them as demos while auditioning for a role in the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band motion picture!
I love hearing Cherie sing those Beatles songs! She does a great job on both of them!
She sang John Lennon's Instant Karma with the Tater Totz, too. This is also FANtastic!
Joan and The Blackhearts did The Word a couple years ago too which is really cool!
It's always nice when your favorite artists do songs by your other favorite artists!

OHMYGOD Warren, what has gotten into you???
The only thing I know about Sinatra is that he did it his way and sang something stupid with his daughter whose boots were made for walking all over me!
Hey did anyone watch the Grammys, Sunday night?
I was only interested in two things, really.
The Police reunion was excellent. They looked and sounded like themselves, except I noticed Sting didn't go for some of the real high notes. Still a GRRREAT rendition of Roxanne. And now they are touring! I guess **** must have frozen over, or something!
The other highlight, for me, was seeing The Dixie Chicks, winning big! They deserved it and their rendition of I'm Not Ready To Make Nice, was awesome!
The rest of the show was a snooze fest, IMO!

I just got a Cd called the Silver Wilburys, Featuring George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Taj Mahal, John Fogerty, and Jesse Ed Davis.
They jam on old classics like, Matchbox, Proud mary, Johnny B Goode, Peggy Sue, and Twist & Shout. It was recorded Live 10 years ago this month
